Business Development Associate - PA Office

We are looking for an outstanding individual who is results oriented and motivated to contribute to both their own growth and that of the company. This full time Business to Business professional will help drive the sales of our industry leading Performance Management Solution. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication, telephone and email correspondence along with interpersonal skills and a drive to excel. The ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high level decision makers and exhibit the pleasant persistence to enable that is critical. Experience selling software to Senior Management would be a plus. Compensation is salary + bonus.

Job Description:
The primary responsibility for the Business Development Associate is to build and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities through contacting a combination of marketing generated leads and leads generated through territory development. The Business Development Associate will need to qualify and ensure a good match of the sales prospects for the sales team.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Build sales pipeline through finding  new sales opportunities
  • Work with and support the sales team to evaluate & follow-up on leads from web contacts, telephone, email, webinars and conferences
  • Research via databases & software in house with goal of attaining meetings for the sales team

Work Experience:

  • 2 + years’ experience in complex solutions/software sales within a Business to Business Environment
  • Excellent communication, telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Team oriented and eager to learn
  • Ability to make 40 to 60 calls per day
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus
  • Creative ‘out of the box’ thinker who looks for new ways to find opportunities
  • Self-Motivated and Results Oriented with an insatiable urge to help people solve business challenges.
  • Solid working knowledge of technology including MS Word, Excel and internet

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
