Plymouth Meeting, PA – January 11, 2010 – ActiveStrategy, Inc., the leading provider of comprehensive performance management software, announced that its client, Datron World Communications, has been selected as the recipient of Ventana Research's 2009 Overall Business Performance Leadership Award. Ventana Research's Leadership Awards recognize organizations that have most effectively delivered business success using people, process, information, and technology best practices – the cornerstones of Performance Management.

Established in California over 30 years ago, Datron is a global supplier of tactical communications equipment and subscriber radios that are commonly used on the battlefield and during public emergencies. They came to ActiveStrategy in September 2007 with a discrepancy between their well-formed strategic plan and their ability to execute it. ActiveStrategy helped the company define and implement a cascaded Balanced Scorecard framework in ActiveStrategy Enterprise software and a pattern of regular use to manage, review, and improve their business operations.
