East Norriton, PA - June 18, 2008 - In response to its increased focus on the healthcare market, ActiveStrategy, the leading provider of Enterprise Strategy Execution software and consulting, has named Tim Mueller as the Director of its Healthcare Consulting Practice.

Mr. Mueller has more than 16 years of experience in healthcare, spanning clinical, operational, executive, and consulting roles. He was previously a consultant with Cerner, the leading U.S. supplier of healthcare information technology solutions. This allowed him to work with a wide spectrum of the healthcare industry, from single doctor practices and small community hospitals to large integrated health systems. He has also served as CEO of two specialty hospitals – HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Midland/ Odessa and Select Specialty Hospital of Denver, which, under his direction, was named “Start-Up Hospital of the Year.”

Mr. Mueller has served on the Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award since 2007. The Baldrige Award is the highest level of national recognition for performance excellence that a U.S. organization can receive. The board is composed of approximately 500 leading experts, meeting the highest standards of qualification and peer recognition, selected from industry, professional and trade organizations, education and healthcare organizations, and government.

Mr. Mueller holds master’s degrees in business administration, health administration, and physical therapy, all from the University of Colorado. He also earned a bachelor’s in biology from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
