The next step is to gain additional leadership approval, or executive buy-in,
to continue to focus on Strategy Execution. If the evangelist is able to frame
the discussion around how Strategy Execution can solve the organization’s
well-known “burning platform,” the chances of success improve.
Executives may be wary because they don’t know what they don’t know…what steps
are in the journey ahead? Has it worked before? Will it drive the financials
and customer outcomes required to truly address the burning platform? What role
will I will need to play?
The best approach is to use persuasive, experienced and results-based education
from an objective and credible third party.
